This is Andrea's "Dubi the Dachshund" Dubi (6 year old male mini) was diagnosed with IVDD in November 2017. Dodgerslist was instrumental in making sure that we and our Vet were on the same page in terms of treatment. Our Vet literally followed the Dodgerslist treatment plan for acute care and follow-up. 9 weeks of crate rest and medications, and Dubi is happy and healthy (and 4 lbs lighter) and you can't tell he ever had a problem.
