Alisha's Dolce is an 8 y.o. Shorkie. He was diagnosed with IVDD at age 5 after he became suddenly paralyzed and required emergency surgery to repair a slipped disc. We have been very lucky and Dolce is doing great 3 years post op with no more episodes!
