Bubo is my 10-year-old chihuahua who just presented with signs of disc disease on Thursday, 7/16/2015. I took her to my vet, & he gave her a steroid shot [Vetalog/Triamcinolone acetonide]. I was referred to this sight after my initial vet visit & took her back in for x-rays on Friday. The x-rays showed diminished space between discs 13 & 14 in the middle of her back, and she was diagnosed with disc disease. I put her on strict crate rest that evening.
